If an AI assistant is asked to recommend a business like yours, can it find you?

Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn block most AI crawlers. Everything you have posted there is invisible to them. If your business lives on social media, you are not in the answer.

Why this is happening

People have started asking AI assistants the questions they used to type into Google — "who's a good plumber near Buckley", "find me an architectural designer in Flintshire". The assistant answers from pages it can actually read.

What the crawlers can and can't reach:

Facebook and Instagram — blocked to most AI crawlers. Your page, posts and reviews cannot be read.
LinkedIn — blocks third-party crawling hard. Your company page is effectively invisible.
A normal website — readable, if it exists and isn't built entirely out of images.
