Google is quoting
his prices.

Baseline visibility report for Deeside Architectural Design (deesideextensions.co.uk), checked 29 September 2026. This is the report every GetAPage website client gets on the 28th of the month — shown here, with Mike’s blessing, so you can see what the £175 a month actually does.

The short version

What Mike
needs to know.

The site is in very good technical shape: all 19 pages load, every page has proper titles, descriptions and structured data that tells Google and the AI assistants exactly who he is, where he is and what he charges. AI crawlers are welcomed in rather than blocked, and there is a plain-language llms.txt file for them to read. Google’s AI Overview has already lifted his fees from the site and credited him by name for “plans for house extension deeside”. The gap this month is loft conversions: directories and builders own those searches and he doesn’t appear yet. That is October’s job.

Google AI Overview quoting Deeside Architectural Design’s fees and naming the business
His £750 extension-plans fee and his business name, in Google’s own answer, above every competitor. Nobody can promise this stays — the monthly check is how we watch it.

“The site went live on 23 July and I’ve already had 5 enquiries and 2 conversions to actual sales.”

The checks

What we
looked at.

✓

All 19 pages load, one clear heading each

Every page returns fine, has a unique title and description, and a canonical link so Google doesn’t see duplicates.

✓

Structured data on every page

LocalBusiness with his address, Service, BreadcrumbList and FAQ mark-up on the guide pages. This is what lets an AI answer quote him accurately.

✓

AI crawlers allowed in

robots.txt allows everything (it used to block GPTBot, ClaudeBot and Google-Extended by default), and llms.txt is live.

✓

Every image has alt text; cost estimator on 18 of 19 pages

Good for accessibility and for Google reading his photos.

!

Planning Permission Flintshire page was thin

681 words against ~1,900 on its sister pages, no FAQ mark-up and no cost estimator. It’s the newest page, so expected — but it’s the one Flintshire search where the council’s PDFs outranked him.

Fixed 29 Sept — now 2,290 words, six FAQs, estimator
!

No loft-conversion visibility for Flintshire or Deeside

His loft page exists and is well built, but it wasn’t earning those local searches. Directories were winning on volume, not quality.

Fixed 29 Sept — local section, fee FAQ, FAQ schema

Reviews

The fastest lever the client controls. Two or three new Google reviews that mention “extension plans” and the town help both the map results and the AI answers.

Watch the two rebuilt pages land

Planning Permission Flintshire and the loft page were rebuilt the same day as this report. October’s report shows whether Google moved.
